đââď¸ âVolunteersâ were asked to do a ramp test to exhaustion three times / week for nine consecutive weeks. During a ramp test, speed and inclination of a running erg increase every minute until the participant is exhausted. đ¤ Youâd think that this would basically kill relatively untrained people no? đ Results show the contrary. VO2max improved by almost 5% and there were no signs of overtraining.
Looks like âtestingâ is also a little bit of âtrainingâ. Nevertheless, we do not recommend adopting this protocol for your own training đ
